Sadie’s Secret is the third book in Kathleen Y’Barbo’s The Secret Lives of Will Tucker series, and as with the first two books, this one is filled with southern romance secret identities and hidden agendas! Will Tucker is on the run again and taking things that don’t belong to him, again. This time, he takes the identity and future of his twin brother Jefferson, leaving Jefferson in jail for his crimes. Being a Pinkerton agent and master of disguise, Sadie Callum is assigned this case, helping Jefferson find his twin brother so Will can serve time for his crimes, and clearing Jefferson’s name. This takes Sadie on the most exciting journey of her life, with disguises, secrets, and we can forget the romance!
Another excellent story that I adore from Kathleen Y’Barbo! Sadie’s Secret has a fast pace and is full of so much adventure and excitement, and Jefferson and Sadie were always getting themselves into something different. I loved that the sweet attraction was growing between the two of them, even though they didn’t think it would happen. Sadie’s Secret overflows with details that I loved! Ms. Y’Barbo sure did an amazing job of research for this book, writing it into the plot in a way that you see and feel the sights and sounds of the people and the way they lived in Louisiana in the 1890s. This is really an awesome, exciting, and interesting read, and if you enjoy historical fiction, this is a must. I highly recommend Sadie's Secret. And don’t forget to check out the first two books in this series as well!
