Sana and Clara: The Heirs of Nature is written and illustrated by eight-year-old Sana Vinoth. Sana and her friend Clara are excited to be celebrating Clara's birthday by attending a sleepover at the local museum. As the girls walk to the museum, Clara shows Sana the beautiful amber ring her grandmother gave her as a birthday gift. Suddenly the amber ring begins glowing, and the girls find themselves in a lush magical land. They explore all the natural wonders, which include talking animals and green forests. Sana and Clara are enjoying their time in this wondrous land until they are entangled in vines. Someone wants to talk with them. What does this mean for Sana and Clara?

Sana and Clara: The Heirs of Nature is an ode to friendship and nature. Sana Vinoth is an ambitious young author who has written a fun fantasy story that includes some interesting facts about the natural world. When Clara shows Sana her amber ring, Sana shares that amber comes from tree sap. The butterfly embedded in her ring was trapped hundreds of years ago. Sana Vinoth has also illustrated the book with her own colorful drawings as well as some digital pictures. Sana and Clara both love nature, but they are individuals who have different skills and interests. Sana Vinoth recognizes, even at her young age, that friends can support each other even if they don't think alike. Sana and Clara: The Heirs of Nature is the first in this fantasy series. The girls are set to have more adventures helping to save our precious world.
