Socialism Revealed is the sequel to the author’s comprehensive work titled Socialism: Origins, Expansion, Decline, and the Attempted Revival in the United States. Phillip J Bryson summarizes many basic conclusions included in the first of the series and some updated information. In this volume, Professor Bryson addresses not only the theoretical flaws inherent in socialism but also its practical pitfalls, made evident by the Soviet Union and the bloc countries, China, India, Cuba, Venezuela, and others who have experimented and seen the disastrous consequences of pursuing policies based on the foundational principles of socialism. This work addresses Obama-era efforts to "transform" our economy in contrast to the Trump administration's deregulation and free market approach. In addition, Socialism Revealed evaluates the real-world economic impact of policies discussed by Democrats and socialist activists should they be implemented in the United States.

Written during the Trump administration, Socialism Revealed provides prophetic insight into economic issues plaguing the US three years into the Biden administration. Because so few voters understand the true implications of US Democratic Socialism in the economic and political arena, this book presents the facts and tools for a thorough examination of the issues and statements made by those running for office in an attempt to avert a potential economic tailspin. Bryson has done most of the homework for you, providing an intensely scrutinized summary of the theoretical foundation and the primary underlying issues inherent in socialism that threaten our nation's political, social, and economic fabric. This quick, revealing summary is an urgent wake-up call and serves as motivation to dig deeper into the truth about socialism.

Socialism Revealed: Why Socialism's Issues Have Never Permitted Success In A Real Economy is a work of non-fiction penned by author Phillip J Bryson in the business, economics, and sociocultural issues subgenres. It is best suited for the general adult reading audience and those with an interest in socioeconomics. In this concise but detailed treatise on social issues and how they impact the financial world, the author explores the attempted relaunch of socialism in the United States under the Obama administration, as well as comparing it to the wider history of socialism, and explores its shortcomings in history and the present day.

Author Phillip J Bryson presents this work as an updated and shortened version of his much longer piece titled Socialism: Origins, Expansion, Decline, and the Attempted Revival in the United States, and it is a great primer for anyone wanting to dig deeper into the world of socioeconomics, particularly those who might fear lengthier tomes with a lot to take in. Here, Professor Bryson is able to deliver all the relevant facts with the key points of history and perspective which are required to understand the modern examples of the Obama administration and where they sit in the overall history of the socialist movement worldwide. As someone who is absolutely fascinated by Marxism in general, I found Professor Bryson’s commentary to be interesting and insightful, and his research to support his points is delivered with confidence and quiet authority, which is very easy to read and access. Overall, Socialism Revealed will help anyone looking to expand their variety of viewpoints on socioeconomic issues to get into the right headspace from the off.

I couldn't have read Socialism Revealed by Phillip J. Bryson at a better time. We have seen an increase in the call to have a socialist government, especially with the younger generation, as seen by the strong support for Senator Sanders of Vermont. Surprisingly, socialism is not new; early Christians lived a communal life. Later, the utopian system describes socialist living, but unlike the later ideas of Marx and other socialist thinkers, those older systems were voluntary. Europe embraced socialist ideas after the Second World War, but this was easy, with America paying for its security during the Cold War. By 1990, socialist parties had collapsed. Get a copy of this amazing book to discover why America was at the forefront of creativity and innovation, enabling it to produce the world's best economy.

Socialism and freedom don't go hand in hand. Phillip J. Bryson is articulate in demonstrating why socialism, even in its current form of wealth redistribution and the welfare state, is a flawed economic system. I loved how Socialism Revealed approached this economic system not only by giving its proper historical context but also with modern examples. To call Socialism Revealed a wealth of information is an understatement. The approach used by Bryson to explain the economic concepts is easy to understand and doesn't require the reader to have a background in economics. I hope many people can read this book with an open mind. The reader will also find the conversational tone used in the book to be very welcoming. I am looking forward to reading something else from Phillip J. Bryson.

In Socialism Revealed (Why Socialism's Issues Have Never Permitted Success In A Real Economy), Phillip J Bryson discusses why socialism, despite its idealistic intentions, fails as an economic system. He covers the origins of socialism, the types of socialists in America today, the Obama socialist policies, noneconomic issues affected by socialism, and many more topics. The book also explains other economic systems like capitalism and communism, and finally, the author gives an ideal solution to the problem of socialism.

Socialism Revealed by Phillip J Bryson is an in-depth study on socialism. This book is very detailed and showcases the author's research and passion. Bryson has provided weblinks and book references for those wishing to read more on this topic. The author does a great job of explaining the totalitarian tendencies and unrealistic economic policies inherent in socialism. He highlights the potential for the government to overreach, the crash of the free markets forced charitable behavior, and people freeloading on others’ success. Everything was explained in simple terms, making the book easy to understand and an enjoyable read. I recommend this book to anyone who wishes to learn how socialism works and its negative economic and societal effects.

Socialism is a system that seeks equal conditions for all people, encompassing diverse fields such as philosophy, culture, and education. Due to its interdisciplinary nature, it may seem a complicated topic to explain. Socialism Revealed: Why Socialism's Issues Have Never Permitted Success in a Real Economy is the introduction to a solid framework. This work covers all the aspects necessary to understand the subject in detail. Phillip J Bryson begins by laying the groundwork and describing the origins and history of socialism. He then explains its development and fundamental characteristics. In addition, he shares practical examples on a political level related to the accompanying bureaucracy, the Obama administration, and the current economic system. This is an excellent guide that will help readers to understand the society in which we live and motivate us to improve it.

I liked Socialism Revealed for its comprehensive and well-structured content. Phillip J Bryson shares a simple analysis with clear and concrete examples. In this way, more people will be able to understand and get involved in the decisions of their government. The way the author analyzes social thinking is impressive because he not only focuses on politics and economics but also examines topics such as health services and the way this has changed in recent years. Another interesting aspect is that Bryson emphasizes the importance of staying informed because this will give us hope for a prosperous future and a better understanding of society. He also explains the need to have a balanced government to progress. This is an excellent resource to analyze and reflect on our opinions and participation in society.
