Eloise De Sousa shares her creativity in Space Dust. This story, with only two characters, takes us on a great journey, where a boy known as Little One was sad, wondering if his mother will return soon. Big Ox is a man who is taking care of Little One. The man takes the boy on a magical expedition to make Little One feel better. They use a canoe to go on a space adventure in a unique adventure to unknown lands. Fantasy is the main component in this book, where Little One visits planets that are not as he expected, with extraordinary colors and animals. The pictures only show us what is necessary, making our imaginations compete with them. Eloise De Sousa gives us an original story.

I liked the narration of Space Dust. This book is perfect for children because they can practice reading with words that have harmony and rhythm. I also liked the images because they are unique; some pictures maintain an abstraction that helps us see things differently. That different way of seeing things is what Big Ox wants to show the boy. I love the idea of a world without limitations, where everything is possible. The colors were well chosen to give a creative atmosphere, marking clear differences in each place the characters visit. Eloise De Sousa shares a book made with love and dedication and that is perceived from the first page. Space Dust is a perfect story to enjoy reading.
