Specimen by Lisa Towles was a fantastic thriller. I was captivated by the opening page and found myself turning the pages as fast as I could. The plot was fast-paced and compelling. Due to all the unexpected twists and turns, I was unable to predict what would happen next. I was fully engaged throughout and eagerly anticipated the next events. The writing style was exceptional, and I was hooked throughout the story. It was easy to immerse myself in the plot and join the friends in their quest for the truth. The characters felt genuine and relatable. Each one had a backstory that helped me better understand them. It has been a long time since I lingered with a story so long after I had finished reading.
