Recently, many discontented citizens have decided to take a stand. They are tired of listening to politicians who lie, side step and twist facts; tired of big government and the government spending their money. Dr. B. Leland Baker explains the goal of Tea Party.
The Tea Party Revival begins with a list of demands:
We want our unabridged freedoms, as promised in the U.S. Constitution.
We want the President, Congress, and the courts to comply with the limits in the U.S. Constitution, as the highest law in the land.
We want the courts to interpret, not make, laws.
We want an end to the robbery and redistribution of our personal property and wealth by Socialistic-Progressives.
We want the government to stop confiscating our wages for unconstitutional corporate welfare and foreign aid.
We want the large, wasteful Federal Government reduced to a level compliant with the U.S. Constitution and states` rights.
We want the military to protect our borders, rather than foreign borders, in undeclared wars.
We want all elected officials to be subject to the same laws and penalties as our citizens.
We want a balanced budget and an end to deficit spending.
We want an audit, and then elimination, of the Federal Reserve.
We want each bill to be read thoroughly before it is voted upon.
We want all bills to quote the section and clause of the U.S. Constitution that provides legitimacy.
I proudly admit that I support the Tea Party. I see a country that has lost focus. I see a country on the brink of financial collapse. Our politicians twist the truth, telling us one thing and then doing another. Thank you, Dr. Baker, for offering readers an informative examination of the Tea Party Revival.
