The Blue Wand-Deliverance, set in London England, is an adventure and fantasy story about a quest of two friends, James and Joey, who are both 14 years old. James and Joey love to have adventures, and when they both get the chance to stay the weekend at James' grandfather's house, they are swept away in a real live epic adventure. The grandfather, who was once a sailor/sea merchant and had traveled around the world, happened upon a very odd stick. He tells the boys that the stick is very special to him and that it is a magic stick, if one believes. James asks to borrow the magic stick and before turning in for the night, he says the "magic word," not knowing that both he and Joey would be experiencing an adventure of their lifetime. They stumble upon a quest with the aid of Grandfather's "magic blue wand." James is believed to be pure one, the only one who can conquer the evil wizard that has plagued the magical land of Lanomawood and the Crystal City for over 2,000 years. With the help of his new friend, Jasmine, and his new magical friends, the guidance of "the old man" and "the wise tree," James sets out to fulfill the quest thrust upon him.

The characters are interesting and well developed. The plot is original, well developed and interesting. Unfortunately, there are a lot of spelling and grammatical errors. This book has great potential. With a good proofread and edit it can be a great read.
