What Jesse Jackson, Jr. has received from God serves as the book’s main topic and emotional core. The depth of Jesse Jackson Jr.’s study, historical understanding, and intersubjectivity of the nation’s founding document—including quotes from the democratic republic’s architects—exceeds all expectations. As he realistically examines the points of view of some of the founders, the author discusses the ideal goal of America as a concept. He shares his life experiences in The Finger of God as a theologian, lawyer, historian, and politician, exceptionally and candidly discussing his personal experiences. He also discusses how crucial it is for the nation to represent God's character through the legacy of David and Jesus.

Jesse Jackson, Jr. challenges us with a positive outlook for America that will only lead to better lives. The quantity of meticulous and extensive research conducted is just amazing. Whether you agree with the author's thesis or not, you gain a broader understanding of democracy to free oppressed, congested minds, and countless captives. By expanding on the concept of The Finger of God that was kept secret by the founders of the Constitution, the book compels us to consider the horizontal interaction between humans and the vertical authority of the Creator. All those who have endured suffering and yearned for redemption should read The Finger of God because it offers solace and hope.

Jackson reveals the empetus for constitutional examination here. We must question beyond governance what spiritual context the constitution serves to the natural world i.e. devine law. The Finger of God is the work that wants to show us how to improve collectively. We the people have to embrace and promote the concept of forgiveness through action. This book is timely and required for students of justice, law and order to fully comprehend and employ out constitution as it was intended to be a spiritual doctrine. Great Job
