In The Jo Modeen Box Set by Frank H Jordan, the author has given the reader three books to read in serial form. The author shows the military world in all its forms, taking the reader behind the scenes and into the lives of the main characters when their military careers come to an end, which they surely must. There are five main characters; Ben Logan, Jo Modeen, Wolf, Bugs, Spooky, and Salty, and we cannot forget the baddie Eric Crockman. The author draws the reader in from the first page and waltzes them along the various paths that the characters have to navigate to make sure that the general public is safe. Through the three books is such an adventurous, humorous, although sometimes sad journey to the very last page, which has such an unusual twist that it leaves the reader wanting to know more.
The Jo Modeen Box Set offers three books that are well worth reading and are an inspiration to any young woman of today, demonstrating that there is a whole new world out there and not just marriage and children; that they can be whoever they want to be. Frank H Jordan gives hope to all who read these books that the world has good people in it and there is no such thing as thinking you cannot do anything; you can, no matter what your age is. A wonderfully fast-paced read. Jordan keeps his characters moving at a pace that does not let them get boring or the reader becoming fed up with the characters and wishing they would move on. It is a very good read from cover to cover. I enjoyed every moment and found the characters very believable and down to earth.
