In her book "The Key to a RICHER Life" Benedicte Frölich takes the reader on a journey of personal growth through making better choices, accepting personal responsibility for the things that happen, and having the courage to pursue dreams, no matter what others have to say. Frölich discusses the importance of having the courage to go against the community, to ignore backstabbing, and to break away from damaging relationships. Unfortunately, there are many times when we make up excuses as to why we can’t complete a task, or why something isn’t our fault. If we want to experience a richer life, we need to get over ourselves, take responsibility for EVERYTHING, and keep moving forward.
I enjoyed reading the book as several of the chapters hit home in my experiences as an entrepreneur. She quotes many of my favorite authors including Napoleon Hill, David Schwartz, Wallace Wattles, Zig Ziglar and Mary Manin Morrissey, effortlessly weaving their words of wisdom into the chapter lessons. She doesn’t sugarcoat her message - she is convinced that we have the ability to create whatever we want out of life, and she leads the reader to believe that it is so. The only thing I would have liked to see more of in this well-written and inspiring book is Benedicte Frölich’s personal story. She leaves clues throughout the book that she has led an interesting life, and I would like to know more about her journey and how her life was transformed through her new found beliefs.
