The Key to Cabo: A Rock Pounder Novel is excitement from the opening line until you reach the amazing climactic end. There is mystery, murder, romance, and so very much more. Rock Pounder loves danger, being on his bike on the open roads, and Penelope. Penelope starts off as just Rock’s friend and publisher, but when it becomes known she has the only clue to where drug money is hidden, she becomes a target for the Mexican cartel. Rock, Penelope, and his team are soon trying to find the drug money by traveling the back roads and villages of Mexico in order to locate and return the money to the American government. They constantly face danger and risk their lives to complete this mission. They are faced with kidnapping, murder, and even bad guys on their own side. They each have to be alert and ready to fight at every moment, day and night; never knowing what will happen next. The action never stops.
It was very hard to put The Key to Cabo down and I have to admit I burned dinner because I just had to finish reading the book. This is the second Rock Pounder story in the series and although I did not read Book One, it made no difference. I can honestly say that I can’t wait for book Number Three and plan to go back and read Number One. Dave Harrold is certainly the next writer to be added to the very top of your favorite author list.
