Author Biography

I am an artist with a passion for literary creativity, visual story-telling, and a loving God of light...
My yearning is to use the gifts that God has blessed me with to help plant seeds of light—and change lives one day at a time. I believe that's my quest on this earth... I hope to do bigger things for God as my years pass. I am also one of the illustrators of The Princess The Pearls & The Pekingese, which is a whimsical and God-inspired children's book series.
Personal Anecdotes: Everyone has stories within them to tell—and there are so many ways to tell them...
When I was a preteen, I was fascinated with Greek mythology and Medieval art and literature. During that time I had just gotten accepted into the Talented Arts Program at my junior high—and that's when my story ideas unfolded. I would draw characters and create stories about them. That’s when I began to write. The Last Legend began as art work and a faint storyline—then grew into one incredible story. For thirteen years, my story became stronger and grew in my head, just as I grew upon the earth. It wasn't until 2010 that I started writing The Last Legend. During those years I rededicated my life to Christ, and that's when my story turned into something more than just another fantasy—it became a testimony, my own poem and a beacon of hope. You see, the situations that my beloved characters go through in The Last Legend are inspired by broken experiences that we all go through everyday—but just with an epic twist. Just as I experienced the dark-side of our world, so do my characters in the story. It's ironic how over many years ago, my story inspired by poems dealing with many gods, is now inspired by our one and only true God. Over the years, my story had many names and main themes—but now its name and themes are complete...
The Last Legend: Forever, is book three in the Epic-Fantasy Thriller, followed by book one, Awakened, and book two, Unto The End. The themes of everlasting love, and light breaking the darkness, are its roots.

The Last Legend: Unto The End is the second volume of a young adult fantasy written by J.B. Wichterich. King Julpen and his men search for the missing princess. But there are worse things in the kingdom than the disappearance of his daughter, Princess Marrisa. The Dark Lord is rising and destroying everything in sight. There is a prophecy of a blood-red moon that will open doors to a new era dominated by dark powers and dark beings. War is looming. And somehow, Princess Marrisa is in the middle of it all. She is in the Dark Tower, awaiting the arrival of the blood-red moon that will usher in a new and powerful reign of terror. At the same time, Natalia, Tairren, and Phillip traverse through Minslethrate’s Forbidden Lands and dangerous wilderness. The Legna are companions of light and become involved in a quest to search for the legendary armor of the King Yehoshua. They must find the armor and end their quest so that they can face the Dark Lord before his powers have the chance to manifest.

The Last Legend is a complex and interesting fantasy story that is sure to appeal to fantasy and young adult readers. There are a number of interesting characters who take on amazing quests to save the kingdom. I thought the adventures in this story were very well-written and Wichterich created a stunning setting. The fantasy land was well described and it was easy to see the characters traversing through it. Readers of this genre will be stunned by Wichterich's talent to richly describe setting. The story's beautiful backdrop makes an excellent stage for Wichterich to set this innovative and unique fantasy story. It was a pleasure to watch the story's events unfold.
