The Last Time by Elodie Parkes is a hot and romantic story about lonely Bethany Snow and actor Seth Carbery. The two meet on a movie set and fall head over heels in love. Seth Carbery had sworn to stay away from relationships and Bethany Snow had no intentions of falling in love. Little did she know what was in store for her.
This book is romance with a difference. The author has managed to create a love story without any cliches which is pretty difficult when it comes to romance. That itself is a plus point. There are several hot and graphic scenes which the author has handled with expertise without making it vulgar. Those scenes are aesthetically described and Bethany and Seth sizzle here.
The mystery and suspense that surrounds the story adds another angle to the book. The plot takes a turn when the film making crew starts receiving death threats. Bethany Snow, who is sent to guard Seth Carbery, finds herself in the midst of all the threatening letters. The weaving of a sensual story with a detective angle to it makes The Last Time an excellent book.
The suspense and the erotica of the book keep the reader glued to the story. The book is fast paced. Who is stalking Seth Carbery? Will Bethany Snow be able to find out and guard him from possible danger?
