The Lover's Rhapsody: Ecstatic Love Poems of Rapture, Awakening, and God by Adam Siddiq is an exquisite collection of love poems that brings to mind the fascinating works by Jalaluddin Rumi, Hafiz, and the mysticism, spirituality, and Sufism that dominated their works. The author's spiritual and trance-like state of mind while writing these poems is palpable to readers. As they go through his words, these poems will awaken the beauty and magic of their spirit, and leave them eager and longing to unite with God and love. The collection is beautiful and transcends all layers of humanity and love, and will help readers to experience the enchantment and ecstasy that comes with an intimate union with God.

The beautiful lines from the first poem, The Lover's Rhapsody, is about all things related to self-love and the light that is radiated from within and will make readers experience the magnetism of his words. The poems will leave readers intoxicated and with a completely different perspective of how to view the world and become in sync with it. I like the images shared after each poem. They add to the radiance and brightness of this already shining book. Where Does A Tree Begin? Where Does A Tree End? is a beautiful tribute to trees and will show readers their metaphorical significance of existence that honors the future, present, and past. Every poem is breathtakingly wonderful and luminous. The insights, profundity, intensity, liveliness, and sensitivity will leave all poetry lovers enraptured and wanting more.
