Author Biography

Rocio Aquino and Angel Orengo, are a wife-and-husband team of twenty-two years, and devoted parents of teen girls. ‘The Orchid’ stems from Rocio’s 30-year quest for self-love and self-forgiveness, and Angel’s search for meaning and purpose in his life, and it is the next step in their desire to lead authentic and empowered lives. In addition to rich global experiences, their transformative journey includes profound revelations about the personal freedom that can be accessed via age-old forces like awareness, gratitude, forgiveness, acceptance and intention, all lessons at The Orchid. Desiring to share these insights with the world, they first turned to writing. “The Orchid” stands as a universal reflection of their hurdles and victories, and their desire to help women, but really all, to embrace their unique paths towards a more powerful existence.
