This story is about a very unusual little ant named Ally. She was unusual because she liked adventures and loved to explore the world, but this often got her into a lot of trouble. Most of the time, instead of working with the other ants like she should, Ally would wander off which usually got her into a lot of trouble. One day she found a long tunnel and decided to walk through it. At the end of the tunnel there was water. Ahh, she was very thirsty so she took a big drink, but it wasn’t water at all; it was something that made bubbles come out of her mouth! Oh, no! What had Ally gotten into now? And what was she going to do about all these bubbles? Join Ally as she goes on her most adventurous trip of all, and you will be surprised at what she finds on her journey.

This is a really cute little book about Ally the Ant. It is written so that young readers can understand the flowing words. The excitement of Ally’s journey will keep the reader interested until the end. The book will catch the reader’s attention with the adorable illustrations that give readers a vision of the story as they read. The lesson in this book teaches the young reader what happens when they don’t stay close to adults and wander off by themselves. This would fit wonderfully in any public school or child’s library.
