Sometimes in life, we feel like we're all alone. Problems seem so big that we start to think there's no way out. However, in adversity, we can be sure that God is always taking care of us. He puts obstacles in our way so our true selves can shine and we can understand the power of love. Hope Faith Barra has been through these experiences, and that is why she shares her testimony in The Unwanted Daughters and Daughters-in-Law Also Succeed in Life. She had a difficult childhood. When she was born, her father abandoned her mother in the hospital. Eventually, her father returned, but both her father and mother were distant from her. From a young age, she learned that life could be hard, but she also discovered that finding love was possible.

The Unwanted Daughters and Daughters-in-Law Also Succeed in Life presents a moving story. Hope Faith Barra speaks openly and honestly about her childhood, adolescence, and adulthood. She describes the pain she endured due to rejection by her family, her first love, and the difficulties she faced in achieving independence. Her anecdotes are full of meaning, demonstrating that she never lost her faith in God, even when everything seemed to be against her. The resilience she shows and the hard personal work she put in to overcome her difficulties are admirable. What I liked most was that her words convey her desire to help other women who are going through similar situations. I found her story inspiring because it speaks not only of strength but also of forgiveness and inner peace. This reminds us that difficulties are dark, like the night, but a new dawn always comes.
