In There Are No Bibles in Heaven: Walk and Talk with God All the Time, Just like You Will in Heaven, Daniel Green outlines incorrect teachings and interpretations, warns against placing more value on the Bible than on God, emphasizes the Lord's desire to have a close relationship with us, and reveals history about the evolution of Christianity. The author provides details about "Father Encounters" in small groups while explaining good ways to conduct them. Green details three specific near-death experiences and what we can learn about God from them before discussing the individuals in scripture who had a deep relationship with the Lord. The author persuades us to have daily conversations with God, giving examples of conversations with Him. He relates the constraints that keep us distanced from God and urges readers to seek God's voice.
Daniel Green considers thought-provoking points and engages readers with historical facts and scientific evidence. Green isn't trying to diminish the importance of the Bible. As I understand it, he is trying to promote a more organic connection to God. It's awesome to think that I won't need a Bible in Heaven because I will communicate directly with God. I won't need to reference scripture to understand a particular point as I can speak to the Lord about my question or concern. Through Green's enlightening conversations with God, you will see what spurred him to make decisions that brought him closer to God. Readers who hope to have a more fulfilling relationship with their Heavenly Father will benefit from reading There Are No Bibles in Heaven.
