Tilly and the Hidden Elves is the second book in a trilogy written by Catharina Steel. After the adventures of the first volume, Tilly goes back to Cheyanne Forest during her school holidays and learns from Cheyanne, who is still recovering, new information about the evil witch Cleo (who had held him captive) and the hidden elves. It seems that the witch is looking for them to use elven magic. After this discovery, Tilly and her friends prepare potions and food and set off on a new adventure. They will travel to the Deep Forest to spy on the evil witch and try to locate and alert the hidden elves - if they really exist. Are you ready to follow Tilly and the others in the Deep Forest?
Tilly and the Hidden Elves by Catharina Steel is a delightful book, but being part of a trilogy, the best way to appreciate it is to read it along with the volumes that precede and follow it. The story Steel wrote features agreeable characters that readers can consider as new friends, and the adventures they live are fantastic. I am sure they will make many young readers (and adults reading with them) dream. As I read, I felt part of Tilly's group, and it was easy for me to imagine being with her in the Deep Forest. I believe that any young reader who loves magic stories will love Tilly and the Hidden Elves, so I recommend they read it as soon as possible.
