When he was a boy, Welly had an extraordinary encounter with beings from another world. After their visit, Welly wrote down and applied everything they had communicated to him. With that information, Welly invented a vehicle that travels through time via a nova. Welly seems to be the only one who is noticing and is highly concerned about the consequences. Taking his son, Kyle, Welly travels through the nova back to the Revolutionary War era to set history back on the right path.
