Pamela Harrington vowed she would never return back to Middleton. Years earlier Pamela had  been in a serious  automobile accident. Severely injured herself, the accident claimed the lives  of  two young people, one of them her best friend. Even though it was not her fault, Pamela has never been able to forgive herself. She feels she caused the death of two young lives.

With a new medical center now open in Middleton, Pamela has been offered  a top position  in the facility. Returning long enough for an interview, she meets up with the former love of her life Tom Jarrod.  Pam and Tom  try to make right the wrongs they committed. Tom wants her to stay and take the job, but some one else wants her out of town.

This is a well written book and the characters are quite engaging. It will have you turning pages to find out what happens next. With her strong belief in God, you will find yourself rooting for Pam to quit blaming herself and look forward for a new start in life with Tom.
