You have the ability to be a history maker. In fact, God has destined you to be a positive force for humanity. You probably never thought about your life in such ambitious terms, but Garry Edwards, author of “Why You Are Still Struggling”, says it is true. The Bible says, “We have different gifts according to the grace given to us…”- Romans 12:6. Each of us should discover and hone our gifts and almost effortlessly transform them into a profitable business. Why? The world is willing to pay for your unique product or service. Our innate, superior abilities give us an advantage that banishes struggling. This 57-page guide gives you step-by-step instructions to help you replay your childhood experiences, nurture your skills and experience remarkable success.

I chose this book because of its intriguing title. I’ve read an inordinate amount of self-help and career-focused, how-to books. But this one was different. It wasn’t about improving your weaknesses to fit into a prescribed, socially defined role but celebrating the essence of you, a one-of-a-kind creation of God. I believe that Edwards is on a mission to change the world with his message. I would have liked to learn more about him through an “About the Author” section. However, Edwards is a researcher and prolific, self-published author. He wrote “It Takes One to Tangle” and “Harnessing the Power of the Mind in Recreating Yourself.” "Why You Are Still Struggling” is highly recommended.
