Willy the Wiggle Worm is Still Wiggling by Hailee Oman is a funny children's picture book about Willy the wiggling worm. This is the second installment in this book series. Willy is still wiggling and decides to try new solutions to fix his problem. His previous attempts did not help in the least and he is more determined than ever to stop wiggling. Willy climbs a tree to brainstorm ideas, but this makes things worse because he is afraid of heights, and this causes him to wiggle more. Climbing down the tree, Willy has a brilliant idea. He decides to freeze his wiggles out in the snow. Guess what? He starts to shiver and wiggles even more. Willy takes a trip to a dark hole that scares him and still does not stop his wiggles. In his last attempt, Willy approaches a human and asks for help. Find out if this is Willy's best idea or a fatal mistake.
Hailee Oman has done it again. Willy the Wiggle Worm is Still Wiggling is just as funny and creative as Willy the Wiggle Worm Can't Stop Wiggling. Poor Willy cannot get a break from his wiggling. Willy's ideas are just as crazy as before, and I was afraid for his life this time around. Oman created the craziest ideas to help alleviate Willy's problem, and each one was hilarious. Jaylie Jae is back providing the illustrations. I loved the consistency of the images and the orange theme. Willy still has his frustrated face and grumpy personality. Brilliant work. I hope that there will be more books in this series.
