Wisdom To Win With: Biblical Principles For Good Success by Marlon Young is a book of short motivational poetry. This was an easy to read, enjoyable book of poetry because there was no specific flow or order to how the quotes were listed, which left each page as an open canvas. In my opinion, one of the best quotes in the book is: "Your life is determined by the choices you make." This quote stuck out in my mind because for every cause there is an effect, and the choices we make today will determine the progress of tomorrow. So many people don't realize that each day of decisions acts as a stepping stone for tomorrow's actions. The poems give the reader a chance to look at different aspects of situations that they may have faced at some point in their lives.

As I read Wisdom to Win by Marlon Young, it gave me a sense of accomplishment with some of the quotes; for example, the quote "When you are grateful for what you have you will receive more." This quote is one that I live by because each day in my household begins with saying thank you for the blessings of the day before and for the current day. Gratefulness is a mentality and it helps to not be overwhelmed when life doesn't go as planned. Overall, all the quotes were positive and can be read and understood by both teenagers and adults alike, but with totally different interpretations.
