Wrath and Reckoning is the third book in Patrick Parker's Max Kenworth Suspense Thriller series. After a devastating attack in New York City, the nefarious culprit is still at large. With the help of Nassar, a representative of the Muslim Brotherhood, Bart Madison, a mercenary, attacked the Incirlik Air Base in Turkey, stealing B-61 nuclear bombs along the way. A couple of nuclear warheads found their way to Brazil under the guardianship of Lieutenant General Devrim Chakmak. Meanwhile, nuclear weapons expert Max Kenworth and his fiancée Dayna Mayer, an Israeli Intelligence Officer, follow Madison's trail to South America. Additionally, the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated members of the US Senate. With a potential nuclear attack on American soil imminent, can Max and his allies prevent it from happening? Will the terrorists be brought to justice?

Filled to the brim with action, intrigue, and patriotic fervor, Wrath and Reckoning is a masterpiece of an espionage thriller. From start to finish, the plot moves nonstop at breakneck speed. You don't want to put down the book for a single moment in case you might miss some crucial dialogue or a seemingly throwaway clue that may allude to something more important later down the line. Patrick Parker uses a lot of characters in the narrative. However, the author always ensures everyone has their own agency and a personality that makes them shine among their peers. The twists and turns are always unexpected, keeping the reader on their toes. All in all, it's a fantastic military/espionage thriller. I very much enjoyed it and definitely recommend it.
