Jim Stephens' 101 Proofs for God: Eye-Opening New Information Showing there Has to Be God is a thought-provoking and intelligently written book that makes a compelling statement about the existence of God and calls on readers to look past the obvious to discover a powerful hand behind creation and their lives. The author shares insights and arguments about the existence of God, some of which are scientific, leaving readers in no doubt that there is a God. Not all the arguments will appeal to all readers in the same way, but there is certainly something here that will have everyone thinking about God.
From disputing the idea of evolution to considering the order of the world and the beauty of the flowers, Jim Stephens concludes that creation couldn’t have been a work of chance. There are beautiful passages in this book and I enjoyed how the author uses allegories from life to demonstrate his arguments, even personal experiences. I picked up some interesting thoughts like when he considers the order in the world and ponders: “Was there an intelligence that put that all together? It’s incomprehensible how it could have happened without intelligence.” One of my favorite thoughts is this one: “The cuteness that I see everywhere in the world is not an accident. It’s a deliberate effort on the part of my “original” parent, God, to give joy to me, individually, as well as everyone else collectively. We are God’s children.” Jim Stephens' 101 Proofs for God is a book that is designed to strengthen the faith of the reader and to help the doubting find a reason to believe in a compassionate and benevolent creator who loves humanity deeply. This book is filled with meaningful thoughts and inspiration.
