Authors James Patterson and Maxine Paetro have penned another book in one of their most popular series, 'Women's Murder Club'. The "11th Hour" is sure to please fans. Lindsay Boxer is hard at work on a case; pregnancy doesn’t slow her down. Lindsay and her partner Rich Conklin are working on two cases. Chaz Smith was gunned down in a school bathroom and the gun was one stolen from the department’s evidence room. Someone is killing lowlife drug dealers. The other case involves a garden of human heads surrounded by mums. Could Lindsay have two serial killers on her hands? Medical Examiner Claire is on hand to help with the investigation as is Yuki and Cindy. Lindsay successfully balances both cases and her pregnancy. However, a shocking discovery concerning her personal life comes close to destroying a relationship she holds dear. Yuki, Cindy, and Claire are there to offer support personally and to discuss the case. Things could be tricky with Yuki dating Lindsay’s boss.

This is a review of the audio format. The narrator is January LaVoy. Her voice lends much to the book. Too many narrators simply read the book. Ms LaVoy throws her soul into it. The "11th Hour" captured my attention from the time I read about the first head surrounded with flowers. This installment in the 'Women’s Murder Club' is my favorite to date. One of the things I like about this series is the strong female leads. They each have their own unique personalities. The ladies' bond is stronger than that of most sisters. I had fun trying to figure out the answers to the mystery before the end of the book. The "11th Hour" is surely entertaining. I wonder what the dynamic duo of James Patterson and Maxine Paetro will come up with next.
