In some ways, we are all considered immigrants. The diversity of unique ideas makes the United States and any country great. In the book, 12 Immigrants Who Made American Science Great by Tristan Poehlmann, the reader learns about the contributions that each of the scientists featured has offered the world. It is because of this offering that they've made the world a better place to live. There are so many contributions: Nikola Tesla (Croatia) who invented the power system for an alternate current electricity and wireless communication; Albert Einstein (Germany) responsible for the theory of relativity; Huda Akil (Syria) who studied the effects of feelings and stress on the brain; Inez Fung (Hong Kong) who created an Earth climate change model. These are instrumental and are being used in the world today.
I highly recommend 12 Immigrants Who Made American Science Great by Tristan Poehlmann because it's an excellent resource of great information. The reader will not only learn a lot about some brilliant immigrant scientists but they will learn about the outstanding contributions that they've made throughout the world in the past and present. There is so much to learn and discover in this book such as the scientists behind the ozone layer, DNA repair, cosmic radiation noise, and bird migration patterns. All of these were discovered as the result of immigrants but no one cares that they're immigrants. Instead, people respect the discoveries that they've made. This book is an excellent resource for anyone, both young and old. An added bonus is the glossary designed to help expand your vocabulary. Get your copy today of this book and tell a friend. Enjoy!
