Logic Lotty: The Fortune Teller's Spoon by Paige Peterson is a cute story for kids. Lotty Lewis loves to find solutions to problems. She uses Logic Matrix, a special chart that helps her solve these problems. Now one of the people in the town of Redville is a thief. Will Lotty and her friend Gavin be able to find enough clues that will help them solve the mystery? The author incorporates a very clever method of reaching out to children using logical puzzles which are beneficial in enhancing memory, improving reasoning and organizational skills, and many other benefits.
The story is educational and filled with fun, which makes it appealing to the child reader. It is a perfect book that can be used by teachers, educators and parents for interactive sessions. The best way to teach young kids any new concept or idea is through books. They learn easily and with a story line they can comprehend it better. All kids will love Logic Lotty and Gavin and their detective tactics to find clues to solve the problems. The book will keep kids entertained and will prompt them to think more. It will encourage kids to reason and use their imaginations to the fullest. The characters are delightful and young readers will love them for their weird and funny behavior. I recommend this book to all parents and teachers as it teaches kids many things in a fun way. They will also develop new skills.
