A beautiful collection of poetry and prose, 70 Chronicles of Confessions by 1UniqueWriter is split into five different parts: Alone Reject, Mysterious Mysticism, Nostalgic Love, Pressing Depression, and Regretful Confusion. Each part is full of emotional pieces about pain and love and having the strength to move on. If you’ve ever felt forgotten, unappreciated, or empty, this collection is for you. Poet 1UniqueWriter shares her thoughts in such a way that will force everyone to open their eyes to the harsh topics. This is a collection all readers should have if they want someone who understands, who relates, and who teaches the love and hope and strength to continue going strong.
The author's words flow off the pages and into the mind of the reader, as seen in the piece titled I Wasn’t. You are reading raw emotions that 1UniqueWriter felt through her life, and continues to feel. The author states in her description that 70 Chronicles of Confessions is essentially her diary of love, rejection, regret, and depression. There were parts I loved wholeheartedly, and parts I wanted to leave behind, relating too strongly to the pieces. The style the author has is simple, yet elegant in a way that makes it easy to continue reading with interest. One of my most favorite pieces is titled Trashed. It is a roll of alliteration that really proves how diverse her figurative language is and how the book sends you on an adventure through the light, the dark, and the beams in between. And at the very end, 1UniqueWriter leaves an inspirational note to further the great quality of 70 Chronicles of Confessions: "You’re a gift to this world."
