A Fat Virgin Death by Joyce Tracksler begins with the gripping saga of Sharon Nye. Until that fateful day, Sharon Nye had a delightful childhood. The nightmare began when she was only ten years old. Her sister hung herself and Sharon found the body. A few months later her mother died. When she was fifteen, her father passed away.

Aunt Ophelia came to live with her. She graduated high school at sixteen and received a hardship college scholarship. Life changed within moments of meeting her roommate, Paula Haskins, the daughter of famed film star, Hazel Lorimer Haskins. The two had an instant connection and quickly became best friends. After Paula made a request of Sharon, things were never the same.

The scene fades to Don and Arlis planning their wedding. They want to have a romantic wedding on the beach. Don calls Captain Jack Scambaugh (Captain Scumbag) and plans the trip to the Virgin Islands. The sixteen passengers of Captain Jack are expecting a relaxing holiday of fun in the sun, sand, and surf. They never expected terror and murder.

A Fat Virgin Death by Joyce Tracksler takes the most intriguing twists and turns. Ms. Tracksler has a unique talent for combining wit and suspense. I will admit, I did suspect the outcome of the mystery a little more than half way into the book, but that did not spoil the rich air of mystery. The characters are fun and well-developed; each has a distinctive voice. I look forward to reading more from Ms. Tracksler. Fans of mystery watch for the name Tracksler.  I suspect that you will be hearing it more often.

"Well, she's done it again.!"
Our girl's strangely twisted and somewhat entangled, yet captivating, saga of what life is really like for a couple of British Virgin Island Detectives, and all the folks whose lives they ordinarily come in contact with on a daily basis, And.., I must say, intrigueingly, a few that they do not. It is a captivating and riviting tale of "Fun in the Sun & Death in the Dark" down amongst some of the most breath-taking scenery on Earth that will take you on a virtual emotional "Roller-Coaster ride." Don't miss it.!
