Saying I loved reading A Glimpse Into The Real World Of A Dented Pearl is an understatement because this is one of the most relatable poetry books I have ever read. It made me feel like I was casually conversing with a close friend. Ayesha Muhammad’s vulnerability and raw honesty are present in each poem. Her life philosophy and internal battles are thought-provoking. From the eye-catching cover to the consistent format, I applaud the work put into creating it. She uses simple words and rhyming sentences, making the poems easy to understand and interpret. Her message about self-love and acceptance makes me proud to be unique and different. Whether it is a friend, sibling, or twin, we have different preferences and experiences. Spending your life mimicking or pleasing someone will only kill your identity. Let us be who we are and embrace our differences by respecting and loving one another.
