Kaylee was not having a good day. A “pig” had asked her out. She received two tickets, and her car died at a busy intersection. She prayed for someone to take her home. Suddenly, lightning streaked across the sky, and “boom” “suddenly, she saw him. A man on horseback was galloping straight towards her.”

When Malcolm sees the giant beast, two glowing eyes, and a woman trapped inside of its belly, he jumps to action to rescue her. With sword drawn, he pierces the beast’s metal armor.

“Could this be a reality show?” Kaylee was shocked to see Malcolm and his two children, Ainslee and Collin. You don’t often see men dressed in kilts. All three strangers were sick and feverish. Taking pity of them, Kaylee took them into her home and cared for them. And so the story begins.

Linda Andrews successfully combines humor, romance, action, fantasy, and adventure to create an entertaining plot. I stayed up all night reading Knight’s Wish. The plot is well developed. The characters are loveable. I solved part of the puzzle before the ending. However, that didn’t stop me from enjoying the adventure. I will be watching for more books by Linda Andrews. I do hope this becomes a series.
