Author Biography

A native Californian, Jeanette Gordon began to discover her intuitive abilities during her teenage years. She started having premonitory dreams. As a gymnast, she began to experience altered states of consciousness during competitions. That same year, during deep prayer, she also experienced an epiphany. Her desire to understand her experiences began a lifelong exploration of the metaphysical, spiritual healing and meditation. It took many years for her to acknowledge and accept her life’s work. A Message for Mankind is her ministry.
Having lived and worked internationally as a professional dancer, Jeanette now resides in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico with her husband and five cats. Offering her skills with a desire to be of service, she teaches Pilates as a healing modality in a small private studio. Spirit continues to communicate to her, and through her, from It’s infinite avenues of expression.

From the author Jeanette Gordon’s perspective, the book A Message for Mankind is divided into two parts – Part I is Giving Voice and Part II is Pen to Paper. The first part is where the journey begins and tells us straightforwardly that there is always a choice. The second part, on the other hand, reminds us of the need to become a responsible human being. If we can be responsible with our perception, if we have become responsible, we can definitely bring positive change and make this world a better place for mankind.

Jeanette Gordon writes that the book, A Message for Mankind, is a message of love and hope. What the author says summarizes what the book is all about. For a humanity in crisis, this book provides enlightenment, guiding the readers to fully understand not only their lives but also the world they live in. This book takes us on a remarkable journey, reminding us of the immediate need to re-evaluate our relationship to one another and the world around us.

This is not just a message but a wonderful gift for mankind. Undeniably, A Message for Mankind is illuminating on many levels. Gordon also provides us a short but quite interesting introduction about her life and how she came up with this book. Of course, it takes a lot of courage to believe in the unbelievable. In addition, it is not easy to develop unshakable faith. One daily good can make a difference and this is what the author wants us to learn. This book reunites the readers with their human hearts.

“A Message for Mankind” is transcribed and lightly edited by Jeanette Gordon. It is the result and the fulfillment of the promise she made to “them”. The transcripts of sessions recorded over the period of several years are messages about love, self-healing, hope and peace. The writing style for “A Message for Mankind” is simple. They are, of course, lightly edited transcripts, so the important elements here are the messages that are conveyed. You will be amazed at the never-ending list of thoughts that come back to you after reading them. What is written in this book is impossible to put into words. It may also be a bit religious for some. However, if you are spiritual and are looking to change certain aspects about yourself and view the world in a different way, just know that once you pick up this book, you might not want to put it down. Each chapter of the book tackles important life guidance, such as expressing yourself, exploring possibilities, creating happiness, self-healing, karma and much more.

The book is full of affirmations and insights. It somehow draws out supplies of confidence, faith, positive thoughts and spiritual guidance in your life. I recommend “A Message for Mankind” to anyone with an open mind and I’m grateful to Jeanette Gordon for putting this book out. It is a book with powerful messages and definitely a great read. To quote one of the messages, “Your actions will certainly be rewarded, in one way or another.”

Jeanette Gordon has received comfort, wisdom and guidance from something that can only be described by her as ‘spirit’ – and a loving spirit at that. Jeanette made a promise to this message source that she would capture and share this message of love, unity and peace with others, as ‘they’ asked her to while she received messages in meditative states of advanced receptivity, which she captured on audiotape and through automatic-writing. The result is her book A Message for Mankind. It’s easy to pick up and while reading it realize that it resonates with what you are going through on any given day. It does speak to your heart through short chapters such as ‘Training the God Nature’, ‘Virtue as a Creative Force’ and ‘The Value That You Hold’. Each can be read as meditations and are instructive and informative. This book is a bridge between traditional theology and new age philosophy, (and not insulting to either) revealing the way forward to a future filled with peace and love. As Gordon says, “By following this guidance we can change our present experience of life and fulfill our divine potential, both individually and collectively.” There is an urgent message here – a call to be our better selves along with easy to understand messages on how to do that. This is certainly a book to read more than once along the way. Start now.

A Message for Mankind is a call to remember, accept and responsibly embrace our very reason for being. It is a call to all of humanity, to each of us as individuals and the sum of all of our individuated beings. This book seeps into one’s soul. I don’t think one can read it and come away unchanged.
It was not until I read Jeanette Gordon’s A Message for Mankind that I began to appreciate the true significance of Universal Consciousness and more importantly that it was now imperative for me to consciously realize that every thought that crossed my mind affected not just me but the Whole of All That Is.
This wonderful book will hit each of us on a different level. I’m a newcomer to even considering my part in evolving consciousness but I do know this much already: I can tolerate the distracted couple blocking a busy intersection, or the store clerk who is flirting with her boyfriend rather than checking out an ever lengthening line with far more patience and sometimes even amusement than I could have two weeks ago. A baby step for me…with hopefully many more to come.
A Message for Mankind is deep. Any attempt to encapsulate even small parts of that message is woefully inadequate and diminishes the whole. I beseech each of you to read this treasure for yourselves. It is meant to be experienced in its entirety. Only by absorbing it’s totality at your own level and your own pace will you reap the full benefit. I hope you will. Our world will become a better place for it.
