In A Predisposition for Grit, author Stephen J. LoPorcaro brings you the action of an engineer-diver in an up close and personal way. With more than fifteen years of experience as an engineer-diver, LoPorcaro has plenty of experiences to let you in on the sometimes humorous and sometimes hair-raising world of an engineer diver. Dealing with fish, lobsters, equipment malfunctions, currents and more, the underwater world is often times very unforgiving and offers a daily challenge to an engineer-diver. This is definitely not your regular coat and tie engineer; this is a job that requires knowledge, skill and a little extra grit to make it through the day.
