A Storm Does This Way Come by J C Fields is a fast-moving detective, murder mystery, and thriller that holds the reader’s attention from the very first page, through the amazing twists in the plot, to the unexpected twist in the tail at the end of the book. The author uses the main character Dakota Storm and his unusual sidekick, Apollo, in a way that makes them more believable. The reader can relate to all the characters that waltz through the book with Dakota Storm and his sidekick. Each character, no matter how small their part, is very important to the unfolding of this story revolving around gun smuggling, drugs, human trafficking, and crimes of the very worst kind.
A Storm Does This Way Come by J C Fields is so beautifully written that it holds one’s attention at all times and the pace set keeps the reader’s attention because just when they think the story has reached a conclusion, a new twist takes place and the race is on again. The premise of this book and the developing story are so believable that the reader will find themselves relating to quite a few of the characters and scenarios that take place during the unfolding of this intriguing tale. I found that once I started reading, it was not easy to put down so I did quite a bit of late-night reading when power allowed. J C Fields has written another riveting book worth more than one read. Congratulations!
