A Student of the Choir by Keaton Edwards is a motivational, inspiring book that challenges readers to embrace their path with courage. In today’s complex and fast-paced environment, with cutthroat competition in both business and personal life, and the media offering all kinds of model lifestyles, readers can easily forget what is very essential: that what society proposes could not always — and this is very often — be what they really need. Most of us live dreams not meant for us, dreams created by others for us, and, given the competitive nature of contemporary culture, we can be swept up in the tide to succeed without pausing to think if that success addresses the heartfelt longings and deep stirrings of our heart. This book encourages readers to have the courage to chase their dreams, to think about their passions in life, and why they are here.
Keaton Edwards articulates brilliantly on one of the problems affecting many lives — lack of purpose. This book is a wake-up call for readers who want to create a difference and live a life that really matters. It isn’t uncommon to find people who are ready to satisfy the whims and wishes of everyone around them while their hearts are crying out to be heard, people who want to follow the trend regardless of where it leads them, and people who want others to think that they are like someone else while who they really are is bereft and forlorn. A Student of the Choir will inspire any reader to rise above the programming we all have received and seek answers to the longings of their hearts. The book is well-written and it features many insightful passages and lessons from the author’s own life. It is real. It is a book that will change the way we look at life and at ourselves.
