Kaitlyn Novacs feels like she is floating away. She lost the one she loved and it feels like she may never be able to recover from it. In an attempt to get her life back, she goes for a weekend at Niagara Lake and soon she realizes that things have changed drastically for her. There she encounters the spirit of Abigail, a woman who went through the loss of her love a century and a half ago. There are some surprising similarities between these two women and it seems as if Kaitlyn will face the same end as Abigail did. Although Abigail lets her look into her life and death, there is something she is holding back and that could be the one thing that will save her. Can Kaitlyn discover what it is before time runs out?
Abigail's Window by Susan Lynn Solomon is a romance novel unlike any other. The story follows the lives of two very different women, yet they are the same in some of the most startling ways. The attention to detail provided by the author is simply amazing. She made connections in such an intelligent way that had me pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the connection between Abigail and Kaitlyn; the two of them made a great team, regardless of their circumstances. I also enjoyed the mystery and the fast pace; the author kept the momentum going and ensured that there was never a stagnant moment in the story. I also loved how the narrative kept the atmosphere alive, literally. I could taste the tension and the race against time for Kaitlyn had my heart racing. There is nothing that I would want the author to change in this story. Simply amazing and entertaining! I will read it again and again. It is perfect and deserves these 5 stars!
