All Body Bags and No Knickers is a mystery novel by Shaw Ruckus about newlywed couple Catherine Roxborough and her partner Chance Yang. Upon getting married in London, they plan to meet up with Chance’s family while honeymooning in China. Amid the excitement of touring a majestic and culinary-rich China, they cross paths with new and old acquaintances from Chance’s past. Then, what seems to be an unrelated murder of three at an abandoned seaside building turns out to be people they recently met on their holiday. To make matters worse, it seems the Yang family is somehow implicated. The newlyweds decide to take matters into their own hands and investigate a puzzling mystery that dates back a decade, one that may also compromise a beloved family member.
In All Body Bags and No Knickers, Catherine and Chance are from very different worlds, but their story is a romantic and suspenseful one. As well as providing a concise and well-rounded analysis of the relationships between the couple’s London friends, the author explains how Chance’s traditional Chinese family comes into being. The novel moves steadily along by drawing the reader into an impressive scenic trip through northern coastal China. The reader will also be captivated by Catherine’s fascination with this new gastronomic and cultural world and will relate to the story’s humorous scenes. A curious build-up culminates in a climactic confrontation of murder, mystery, and bygones. This unraveling tale will provide you with romance, suspense, an appreciation for different traditions, and exotic adventures.
