Answer the Call: Christian Growth and Ministry Development by Kerrie Price is a well-written book that reveals God's plans and dealings in preparing men and women for Christian service. Kerrie highlights the various ways God speaks to us and the reasons why a believer can hear God's voice less frequently, if at all. There are times in the life of a believer when they are overwhelmed by circumstances and obstacles. Kerrie provided insights on how to deal with these obstacles and the need to make the right choices and decisions using the Bible and the Holy Spirit as guides. Kerrie shared powerful lessons in ministry preparations essential for dealing with difficult people, leadership, and motivating others, breaking free from the past, and other beneficial topics needed for believers to deepen their relationship with God and serve God's purpose effectively on Earth.
Personally, this book served as a call for rededication and a deeper commitment to my walk with God. I loved the organization and presentation of all the Bible quotations and references. I loved that Kerrie included personal stories at a well-managed pace, popular quotes, and the food for thought section. This added a sort of liveliness to the narrative and made it relatable and engaging to me. I found the inclusion of additional resources to be an added value, especially for readers who want to get additional knowledge. I found no section of this book confusing or difficult to read through. All of this proved Kerrie to be a passionate, talented, and exceptional writer. I recommend Answer the Call by Kerrie Price to all believers who wish to deepen their relationship with God and to believers who have a passion for ministry.
