Auto Antenna: An Enchanted Guide to Santa Fe & Vague Blueprint to the Cosmos by Stavo Mustang Craft blends a travelogue of Santa Fe with visionary fiction. We meet Cybilline, a theracoach—a therapist and coach to artists to help them resolve their doubts and encourage their creative endeavors. After five years of residence in Santa Fe and in her sixth decade of life, Cybilline shares her experiences of exploring Santa Fe, communicating with its residents, and becoming a part of Santa Fe’s enchanting community. Sightseeing and meeting artists for therapy and coaching sessions, Cybilline shares her musings about the meaning of life, how humans connect with the Cosmos, and, generally, the art of being one's unique self.

I liked how Stavo Mustang Craft portrayed life in Santa Fe and expressed views, at times provocative, on life and human connection to the Universe. These philosophical musings felt like an ode to a defiance of conventionality—sometimes controversial, but mostly highly relatable. Apart from precious memories of Santa Fe’s history and attractions, this book reconfirmed my thoughts about the meaning of life beyond a paycheck, how the Universe guides our actions, and how self-cognizance helps us live happier lives. But most of all, I liked Cybilline’s therapy sessions—some hilarious, others insightful, and one even helped me resolve my dilemma of whether it is worth creating something that only myself, its creator, will enjoy.

The author personally narrated the audiobook, and the audio production was flawless. The voice was clear, and the narration was perfectly paced. Listening to the audiobook made me feel as if I were touring Santa Fe with an experienced and highly erudite guide! The audiobook was satisfying and informative for me. I highly recommend this brilliant audiobook to every adult who likes travel adventures and philosophical discussions about human self-cognizance and connection with the Universe. Adult themes and controversial perspectives, although few, make this inappropriate for younger readers.
