At the head of the family, of course! This dog tolerates his messy family, knowing that he, Bear, is the glue that holds the whole thing together. The author really gets inside the head of the dog, who is absolutely convinced that he is perfect and everyone else barely measures up to his standard. The illustrations are great and capture the spirit of this magnificent pooch who holds such a high opinion of himself.

Great story fully of family and dog antics. It’s very relatable for any kids with dogs, but funny and engaging even for kids who don’t have pets! We happen to love weiner dogs, so this book was a big win!
