Betty & Howard's Excellent Adventure (A Dream Series Story) by J.J. DiBenedetto is a breezy romance that will take readers on a European trip and give them a peek into the lives of the couple, Betty and Howard. Betty and Howard Barnes are going on a trip to Europe. Betty keeps a diary to jot down the details so that it remains in her memory and she can share all the interesting details of her vacation with her friends without leaving out anything. Betty's diary will take readers on a beautiful European trip where every small detail of her trip is chronicled.
The trip covers such European destinations as Iceland, London, Barcelona, Mallorca, and the small town of Deia. There is a small twist in the story amid the travels that shifts the focus away from the sightseeing. The author has managed to make that shift effectively without sounding forced. It is a lighthearted novel that is engaging and it is a story that can be read in one sitting. The exhilaration and excitement of the couple can be felt through the pages as they travel to new lands and see new places.
The theme of the story is simple and it is made interesting to readers through some wonderful narration. Both Betty and Howard are likable characters and readers will feel their warmth and their zest to travel in the pages of the book. A nice theme where romance and travel have been brought together and woven well.
