WOW, just WOW. This novel is scintillating and very, very entertaining. Jack, oh boy, what can I say about Jack? He is a protagonist that is created once every decade. He is strong, resilient, and very powerful. His character development was super amazing, the dialogues were crisp, the mystery element of the novel was intense, and the suspense was nail bitingly good. This novel was a true pleasure to read and I just can’t wait to read the next in the series. Great cover and great writing! This is perfect!

Wow! That’s exactly what I thought when I finished reading the fantastic new book, Brownstone: Book One of the Jack Elliot Thriller Series, by author Dean Kutzler. This book is one that will keep readers up way past their bedtimes, eagerly flipping through the pages from the start all the way through to the end, determined to figure out what will happen next! Follow the story of lead character, Jack Elliot, as he returns to New York to attend his uncle’s funeral, determined to find the murderer who has targeted his family. What he doesn’t know is that he is getting into something much larger than he could ever have anticipated, and he’s about to come up against a secret organization that has existed since the days of Genesis, a group with one goal; to keep a secret that is tied closely to the fate of the world. Will Jack survive his investigation? You’ll need to read this great book to find out!

I loved Brownstone. Loved. It. How’s that for a review? Well, it’s definitely how I felt about this very readable new book. Author Dean Kutzler has done a superb job in creating characters that his readers will relate to and connect with, especially the lead character, Jack Elliot. If that isn’t a hallmark of a great author, I’m not sure what is. The story line is realistic yet exciting, adventurous, and filled with mystery and thrills, just the type of thing that will keep most readers enthralled throughout. I highly recommend this book, and look forward to reading more from Dean Kutzler in the promising Jack Elliot Thriller series as soon as I possibly can!
