Buckle Up for Business Success: Your Road Map for the Wild Ride of Small Business Ownership by Lisa Reinicke is a book for anyone who wants to start and take a business to success. It answers the question: What does it take to make a business a success? The author shares her story of how she started the Automotive Warranty Network and built it into a multi-million company and in so doing provides a roadmap and tips about succeeding in life and business.
In this book, the author shares insights and wisdom from starting and running a successful business. There is no sugar coating, no fluff, and no vain promises. To succeed in business, one has to buckle up and the lessons from an entrepreneur who started in the basement, juggling between work and family - and in the days before the internet - are a gift for those who are struggling to make their business work. I loved this book and was drawn in by the style of the author. Readers will hear real-life talk and truths they don't want to hear. Right from the introduction, the author warns: "As you listen to motivational speakers, chances are, there is a small window of excitement driving you to conquer the next aspect of your company goals. The window soon closes as reality slaps you in the face, and the motivation gives way to necessity."
Lisa has a wealth of business experience and the beauty of this book is that she not only shares that experience but the wisdom it has nurtured, and in so doing she helps readers to identify the hurdles on their path and to prep themselves to win. It is written in a style that is accessible and in language that addresses readers directly. Buckle Up for Business Success: Your Road Map for the Wild Ride of Small Business Ownership is a book for winners. Read it if you are willing to take the challenge. The good news is that the book provides the tools you need to win.
