Wilds of Amaranth: Save the Dog Kingdom is a rulebook game campaign created by Sohrab Rezvan. This campaign is set in the world of Amaranth, with animal kingdoms of dogs, cats, and horses that exist alongside those of humans, dwarves, and elves. The druid Nala is asking for help from the heroes to find her beloved dog, Eugene, who has gone missing. But Eugene is far from an ordinary dog, as you discover that he is a prince of the Dog Kingdom. Soon, the heroes find out that the evil wizard Evrak has set his eyes upon all the peace-loving nations of the world, including the Dog Kingdom. To make things worse, he is working for the drow, who are an existential threat to all the kingdoms. Can the heroes save the Dog Kingdom?
Wilds of Amaranth: Save the Dog Kingdom is both a game campaign rulebook and sourcebook. Young readers will find a series of adventures and challenges with puzzles to solve, optional encounters, maps, and ways to level up characters. This is an engaging adventure/game campaign guidebook that will delight any child. The immersive lore and worldbuilding will bring joy to any fantasy fan. The story itself is worth the read, and the campaign was a pleasant complementary bonus for me. Fantasy fans will definitely like Sohrab Rezvan's book. It features all kinds of magical creatures you normally find in a typical fantasy. These include elves, dwarves, gnomes, and, of course, humans. Children will get to practice their critical thinking skills. I had a lot of fun with it, and you should too!
