Charlotte's Lance and the Round Fable by Margaret Lynette Sharp is the perfect romance for teenagers and young adults. Charlotte is not an ordinary young girl. You see, she is just 19 years old and is the daughter of a very rich and arrogant property developer who will wait for nothing and no one to get what he wants. But she is just a teenager who broke up with a boyfriend and is looking for love. So when she meets Lance, she knows that the sparks she feels are real and could mean something beautiful. However, there is one issue. You see, Lance is an environmental activist and he and her father don’t see eye to eye. He is everything she wants and he is everything that her father wants out of his way. What is Charlotte going to do now? Can she tell her heart to stop loving Lance or is there a chance for them?
This is a short, sweet and exceptionally fun romance that had me smiling like a fool. Perfect for young adult readers and teenagers, this clean yet wholesome romance had me interested from the moment Charlotte was introduced. She is young, bubbly, lively and a perfect protagonist for the story. Lance is such a cool young man and he pays the right kind of attention to Charlotte. The tussle between right and wrong, finding love and standing up for what you believe is woven incredibly well into the story and allows the reader to become invested from the get-go. Charlotte's Lance and the Round Fable by Margaret Lynette Sharp is perfect for a quick read that will keep you entertained long after you finish the story.
