Come Fly With Me! by Terri Kelley tells children about traveling in a plane. Traveling by plane can be a scary experience for many children, especially if they are going in it for the first time. The young boy in the story tells us his observations while traveling by plane. It is his first trip and he tells readers about his travel, right from the beginning of his journey. He shares with readers the excitement of packing his clothes and stuff for the vacation, the ride to the airport, and finally boarding the plane. The book is educational in that it tells you exactly how to check in at the airport with great clarity.
It is a nice, informative book for children traveling for the first time. It gives them an idea on how to start - from packing their bags to checking in at the airport. The details are very clear. The book describes the boy's observations while traveling. It is a good book to read to children because it teaches them to be observant of their surroundings. The illustrations are colorful and bright and it makes it easy for a child to comprehend the book's message.
Children's stories are always good when they have a message and a concept. Books can influence the thought processes of children to a large extent. It increases their knowledge and makes them aware of a lot of things happening in their lives.
