"Come Inside the Ark," written by Judith A. Harrah and illustrated by Jack Foster, is an adorable story and unique look at the Biblical story of Noah's Ark. Noah and his family were inside of the ark for so long, but it was not just the family. It was a variety of animals as well and this account examines what could have gone on inside of the ark during that time. The animals all had jobs and roles that they played each day while Noah, Noah's wife, his sons and their wives had to complete very hard work each day. Included at the end of the book are true facts about various animals. These are great and there are several facts included that I did not know. They are great for children to learn more about animals.

This is a great book that will be enjoyed by everyone, children and adults alike. The story is written in rhyme; therefore, it flows nicely and makes it really enjoyable to read! The illustrations are vibrant and fun to look at too. I think my favorite illustration is of the ostriches giving Noah's sons rides! This book will be great for families to read together after children learn about the traditional Biblical account of Noah's Ark as this book provides another perspective. This book is going to have a prominent spot on my bookshelf and it will be shared with and enjoyed by many!
