Cordell’s Poems of Spiritual Inspiration is a short collection written by Mack “Cordell” Moore. The main intention of the author is to introduce the world to Jesus Christ, and strengthen or renew a person’s faith in God through his writing. The meaning of unconditional love described in his poem What is Love, states that everyone can be forgiven for his or her sins. Misery Loves Company explains why miserable persons will never be happy unless they make positive changes in their lives. Please Don’t Do It (Jesus Loves You) is written specifically for persons who are contemplating committing suicide, as the author himself once suffered from depression and is aware of the sorrows and pain associated with it.
These poems will fit the moods and needs of people who are probably experiencing a bad time, or who just need a boost on a gloomy day. Cordell’s Poems of Spiritual Inspiration by Mack “Cordell” Moore is a collection of twenty-four poems that offers reassurance and words of spiritual encouragement to both believers and non-believers. The author writes in a comforting freestyle that readers will like, and the words have a natural feel and good flowing pace that indicates they came directly from his heart and soul. Readers will find the poems comforting, as well as thought provoking. Life is a Journey is one of the poems that accurately describes the lives of many. The book cover is nicely illustrated. Cordell’s Poems of Spiritual Inspiration is a quick, but lovely book to read.
